Thriving Minds is a partnership between the City of Dallas, Dallas ISD, and more than 100 arts, cultural and community organizations. The managing partner is Big Thought, a non-profit arts-in-education organization. The partnership seeks to unite arts, civic, educational, and cultural resources in Dallas to support creative education. The Office of Cultural Affairs is the primary City department supporting the Thriving Minds initiative. Other participating departments include the Public Library and Parks & Recreation.
Thriving Minds Summer Camps:
In partnership with the Thriving Minds, the Office of Cultural Affairs offers summer camps at the Bath House, Latino, South Dallas and Oak Cliff Cultural Centers. Campers will use their imaginations to explore the world around them through the visual and performing arts in programs led by professional artists and instructors. Please contact the centers for more information.
