Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center
The Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, an icon of artistic excellence, is celebrating its 25th Anniversary in the Dallas Arts District. Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect I.M. Pei and internationally-renowned acoustician Russell Johnson, the concert hall is home to the world-class Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
The Meyerson Symphony Center 25th Anniversary Celebration Week, September 6 to 13, 2014, is hosted by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. The Celebration features free "rush hour" concerts, educational events, family activities, Meyerson tours and more. Many of the events are free and open to the public.
“The beautiful architecture by I.M. Pei makes a wonderful impression.
It is spacious and cool and modern when you enter the lobby,
and warm, embracing and comforting when you enter the concert hall.
It is an incredible space to call home!”
- Dallas Symphony Orchestra Music Director, Jaap van Zweden
