Tuesday-Thursday, September 30-October 23, 2014, 5:00-6:30 pm
The LCC, in partnership with the Dallas Theater Center, are offering a four week after school program for middle school students focusing on the theater arts. This scene-study class, designed specifically for middle school youth, will explore repertoire ranging from the classics to contemporary Latino and American authors. Assignments will be tailored to the specific goals of the student. The program will dive into the challenges of bringing words off the page and into breathing, thrilling life. The class will culminate in an open process session where parents will be welcome to sit in on the process of building a scene and making theater.
