The application process for all Fiscal Year 2008-2009 funding programs is now complete. The preliminary 2009-2010 Application Time Line is as follows:
January 30, 2009 – COP & CPP applications available online
March 13, 2009 – COP application due
April 8, 2009 – CPP Applications due
April 14, 2009 – COP Materials to panelists
April 28, 2009 – CPP Materials to panelists
May 12, 14, 15, 2009 – COP Panel Reviews
May 18-19, 2009 - CPP Panel reviews

Descriptions of Ongoing Funding Programs
Cultural Organization Program (COP) - provides operational support to established organizations
with budgets over $75,000.
2008/09 COP MONTHLY PROGRAM AND ATTENDANCE REPORTING FORMS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD - CLICK HERE.
Cultural Projects Program (CPP) - offers project specific support up to $15,000 to established
arts
organizations.
Neighborhood Touring Program (NTP) - provides funding to ethnic and culturally specific
artists/organizations to present and preserve unique art forms.
Leadership Exchange and Advancement Program (LEAP) - offers management and technical assistance
opportunities for artists and organizations; and a facilities
reimbursement program to access performance/rehearsal space.
Cultural Tourism Initiative - Project funding that focuses on linking arts and cultural organizations and events with the tourism market. Dallas-based arts and cultural organizations may apply for projects that encourage cultural tourism and make a quantifiable impact to Dallas' arts, culture and tourism economies. Projects can be as varied as hosting a blockbuster exhibition, packaging a tour focused on particular aspects of Dallas' culture, or developing printed or electronic publications geared to the tourism market, etc.
Funding Review Panels
Most program applications are reviewed by a panel whose membership is
taken from a list of qualified candidates nominated by the field and
approved by the Cultural Affairs Commission. Panel nominations are
accepted throughout the year.
