The City of Dallas owns and operates six
cultural centers which extend community-based artistic programs
to several culturally-diverse areas of the city. The City
of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs remains dedicated to
presenting multicultural services with city-wide access.
The Bath House
Provides innovative multicultural visual and performing arts
and hosts a myriad of multidisciplinary events. The Center's
energetic atmosphere and programming creates a hotbed for
the nurturing of new works. The Bath House is an exciting
place where artists and audiences meet to explore and enjoy
the arts.
The Ice House
Provides community-based arts and cultural programming for
the North Oak Cliff and West Dallas communities. The Center
provides artist workshops and classes for both children and
adults that creates an environment for artists and students
to be creative.
Juanita Craft Civil Rights House
A community-based center that houses memorabilia from the
Civil Rights Movement of the 1960¹s, and supports educational
and cultural activities for youth and the community.
Latino Cultural Center
Supports the preservation, development, and promotion of Latino
and Hispanic Dallas arts and culture through development of
opportunities and support resources.
The Meyerson Symphony Center
A premiere concert hall with aesthetic beauty and acoustics
to rival the most prestigious concert halls. Its impressive
architectural features and unsurpassed acoustics have made
the Meyerson a preeminent environment for a variety of functions
and events in Dallas.
South Dallas Cultural Center
A multifaceted Afrocentric multimedia and fine arts center
. The Center offers cultural arts enrichment classes with
an emphasis of service on the youth of South Dallas.
