CPP funds contracts for cultural services on a project basis from cultural groups, educational institutions, social service organizations, and other non-profit organizations that are dedicated to community service. The types of projects funded include artist residencies, collaborative projects, and projects that strengthen the organization's administrative capacity.
The CPP contracts require a dollar for dollar match; city support cannot exceed 50% of the total project budget or the organization's or the organization's annual operating expenses. An organization receiving a CPP contract may not apply to COP, but may apply to any other Cultural Services contract program, provided it meets the eligibility requirements.
