Located at the intersection of Routh and Flora, Dallas City Performance Hall opened its doors to the public in September 2012 to serve as a multi-disciplinary gateway to the Arts District, by presenting cultural performances by a growing number of small and midsized organizations representing the breadth of artistic and cultural diversity within the City of Dallas.

Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP, one of the world's leading architecture, urban design, engineering and interior architecture firms, this elegant addition to the Dallas Arts District promises to become a delightful and unique "village for the arts." Phase I includes a 750 seat, state-of-the-art, multipurpose theater designed to accommodate a wide variety of performance needs. The expansive front lobby is available for small performances and events for up to 200 people.

The dynamic features of the two spaces are designed to encourage interaction from the street to the stage. Artists and audiences engage in all forms of performance, from epic theater to the elegance of small-group jazz. Dallas City Performance Hall is the place to discover the next generation of great artists and arts organizations, and to be captivated by the creative Dallas spirit!
